Roo was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona. She moved to Austin to attend the Aveda institute in August of 2013 and graduated valedictorian in October 2014.

She loves work with textured hair, colored hair, and loves to create beautiful highlights in all shades and tones. She is great with ethnic hair blow-dry and flat iron styling, men's haircuts, and textured/curly cutting at any length.

"My mission at Garbo is to make each guest feel wonderful, fabulous, and a part of our salon family! I strive to bring my best attitude and technique everyday so my guests, tribe, and myself benefit from the hard work and dedication it takes to be a part of the best salon in Austin."

She plans on growing her education in braiding, extensions, color melts, and balayage. Roo has taken the following classes: Ergo Styling, Color Melting and Balayage, Cultivate your Blonding, Tapers Transitions and Texture, and Beyond Balayage.
