Salon Manager

Deana is our Salon Manager at Garbo Salon South and also assists Alex in maintaining our social media accounts.

Originally from Chicago, she relocated to Austin in late Summer of 2019 with her husband, 3 children. She has worked in the salon & beauty industry off & on for over 22 years. She is a graduate of Hair Professionals School of Cosmetology in Oswego, IL and of Northern Illinois University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Translation & Business Marketing.

She joined Garbo in May of 2020 and joined Garbo leadership shortly after. She is passionate about and dedicated to the client experience. In her free time, she enjoys being a tourist in her new city along with her family. She also enjoys reading and live music & festivals.
