Garbo A Salon & Spa (Garboasalon.com) is looking for part-time interns interested in developing their
skills working with social media. Our close-knit team has developed an internship program that we feel
provides our students with a hands-on and demanding internship program.
Each semester, an intern is brought in to contribute to our ongoing strategies as well as work with our
team to develop new campaign ideas for clients. Every bit of work throughout your semester as a member
of the team will have direct implications on our deliverables. No busy work here!
Goals
- Learn to use social media scheduling tools
- Learn best practices for maximizing social media impact
- Learn to plan for and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously Details
- Internships are paid -10 hours per week with a flexible schedule
- Supervision from the Garbo team
- Areas of focus: tourism, hospitality professional services, social media influencers Day to Day,

- Develop social media calendars for multiple clients
- Engage with audiences on social media
- Test and implement strategies to increase social media audiences and engagement
