From Virginia Acker: "I am ecstatic to be apart of the Garbo team as their social media intern. As an upcoming senior this fall at Texas State, I will be focusing more on what path suits me best. With that said, I felt it was necessary to step out of my comfort zone in the restaurant industry and use my skills in the media world. The CEO of Garbo, Marsha Power, and her team have made me feel so welcomed and I am excited to grow with them. They believe in teamwork and spreading love between themselves and their clientele. It is rare to come across a genuine business. My given role will be to oversee Marsha’s social media accounts. My goal for her is to keep her pages up to date and bring in traffic to hire more Garbonians and to help Aveda sell their eco-friendly products. My personal goal is to receive positive and negative critiques, from all managerial positions at Garbo, to successfully represent such an amazing establishment that Marsha has built. I am lucky to be given her trust and I look forward to all the projects coming my way".
