Garbo A Salon & Spa has been a cornerstone of Austin’s beauty community since 1984. We are a fully certified Aveda salon — which means we believe in artistry, sustainability, and treating every guest as an individual. What sets us apart isn’t just our craft. It’s our culture. We are a warm, creative, and deeply respectful team who genuinely love what we do — and who we do it with. The proof is in our people: many of our stylists and estheticians have been with us for years, even decades. We have two beautiful Austin locations — Northcross and South Shore District — and we’re open seven days a week to serve our community.

We go deeper into your craft, your experience level, and how we can best support your growth. Compensation is discussed openly and honestly here.

With a Model
The final step — bring a model and let your work speak for itself. This is your moment to shine and for us to see how we fit together. Please bring a model to your third visit.
Training & Mentorship Available
You don't need years of experience to thrive at Garbo — just passion and willingness to grow. From day 1, you'll work alongside our master stylists to learn advanced formulations, hands-on techniques, and the art of guest communication. We'll start with what you already know, then train you quickly and confidently toward excellence.
Experienced Professionals Welcome
If you have 5 or more years in the industry — especially with Aveda — let's talk! Our management style is easy, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your time outside the salon.
