OUR EXTENSION METHODS

Tape-In Extensions

The most popular semi-permanent option, tape-in extensions use medical-grade adhesive to sandwich thin wefts of premium human hair on either side of your natural hair. They lay flat against the scalp for a seamless, virtually undetectable finish — ideal for adding length, volume, or both.

  • Applied in as little as one to two hours

  • Best for fine to medium hair textures

Sew-In Extensions

Sew-in extensions offer maximum coverage and dramatic volume. Natural hair is braided into a foundation, and wefts of premium human hair are sewn directly onto the braid. At Garbo, we also offer beaded sew-in installations where wefts are stacked and staggered for a discreet, layered result that lays flat to the head.

Micro Link Extensions

Also known as micro-bead or micro-bond extensions, this individual-strand method attaches extensions strand by strand using a small metal bead — no heat, no adhesive. A polyurethane tip cushions and protects your natural hair inside the bead for a precise, damage-conscious result.

BOOKING POLICIES

We want your extension experience to be exceptional from the very first conversation. Please review our policies below — they exist to protect the integrity of your hair and ensure we can deliver the beautiful, lasting results you deserve.

Consultation Required before all extension services. We assess hair health, texture, and goals to recommend the right method. Service Deposit 50% of the service total is due at booking to secure your appointment.

Hair Payment

100% of the cost of hair is due in full prior to ordering. All hair is non-refundable.

Non-Refundable Hair

Due to hygiene and custom-order standards, all hair purchases are final. No exceptions.

Your Consultation

Before any extension service, a one-on-one consultation with your Garbo stylist is required. During this session, we assess the health and condition of your natural hair, discuss your lifestyle and desired results, and determine which method and hair are the best fit. We also walk you through realistic expectations for maintenance, longevity, and at-home care.

Hair Sourcing & Quality

We use only premium human hair, carefully selected to match your color, texture, and desired finish. Because your hair is custom-ordered specifically for you, full payment for the hair is collected in advance and is non-refundable once ordered.

Maintenance & Longevity

Most extension methods require a move-up appointment every 6–8 weeks as your natural hair grows. With proper care, your extension hair can be reused multiple times — protecting your investment and keeping your look consistently beautiful.

  • Use sulfate-free, extension-safe shampoo and conditioner
  • Brush gently from ends to roots with a soft-bristle extension brush
  • Avoid applying oils or conditioners directly to the bonds or tapes
  • Sleep with hair loosely braided or in a protective style
  • Schedule your move-up before extensions begin to shed or slip
